How do I set up an online account?

Setting up an online account is easy. Fill out your application online today and start saving time and money!

 

Should I use my co-worker’s account or get my own? 

We recommend you use your own account to avoid issues which can occur when multiple users access the same account. To set up your own account, contact us at [email protected]. Or  speak with your company’s master account holder to be set up with a subaccount.

 

How do I log into my account?

At the top of dixonvalve.com, click on “My Account”. On this page enter the email and password associated with your account.

 

How do I change my password?

To change your password, go to the “My Account” page and click “Change Password”. Enter your current password, then type and confirm your new password. Click “Save” to update it.

 

What if I forget my password?

On the login page, click “Forgot Password.” Enter the email linked to your account, and we'll send you instructions to reset your password. If you need further assistance, contact our web team via email at [email protected], call us at 877.963.4966, or use live chat.

 

How do I add a shipping address to my account?

On the “My Account” page, click “My Shipping Addresses”. Click on the “Add a New Address” button and input all the required information. You can add a nickname to these entries. If this address is the main location for deliveries, click the box to “Make Default” and click “Save”. When you add a new shipping address to your account, you can use it immediately or on future orders.

Checking Stock/Placing Orders

How can I check to see if you have parts in stock?

Checking stock can be done in a few steps. UnderMy Account”, select “Check Stock” and enter the part numbers and quantities. By clicking “Check Stock” you’ll be able to see the status on each item. Starting with your primary branch, you’ll also be able to see availability throughout our locations.

 

Is there a way to save time when entering repeat orders?

To use the "Quick Orders" feature, go to the "My Account" page and select "View Your Orders & Invoices." Then, choose "Closed Orders" to see your past orders. Find the order you want to repeat and click "Add to Quick Orders." You can nickname it and add notes, then click "Save." You can also save a quick order during checkout by selecting "Add This Order to My Quick Orders" on the "Checkout Complete" page.

 

Where can I see my price for the products?

When you’re logged in, your price can be seen on the product pages. Your online ordering discount price is visible during the conclusion of the checkout process.

 

Can I upload my order to the website?

Yes, you can upload your order with our easy-to-use Excel and CSV templates. Access these templates under “My Account”, then click “Upload an Order”. 

 

When I’m checking stock, why am I getting a “Call Dixon” message?

There could be several reasons for this:

  • The product requires special handling or assembly
  • The selected product is a “special” non-catalog or non-stock item that requires assistance (eg accessories, specialty gaskets)

 

Can I place my rush order online?

Yes, you can. If you're ordering after 3:30 pm EST, call us at 877.963.4966 to confirm we can process and ship it on time. For urgent orders, you can choose UPS Air Service during checkout.

 

Can I ship to a different address than the address I used last time?

Yes. After you’ve selected “Proceed to Checkout”, you can enter a new shipping address. If you’ve previously added the address to your account, it will also appear in the “Shipping Addresses”  list.

 

Can I place a pickup order?

Yes. We offer pickup service at your local Dixon Distribution Center. Simply select “Will Call” under “Ship Via” at checkout and we’ll typically have your order ready for pick up within 1-2 hours.

 

How quickly will my completed order show up in Dixon’s system?

Once you’ve submitted your order, it takes approximately 15-20 minutes before it shows up in our system. If there are any questions about your order, a customer service representative will reach out to you.

Can I add items to an order that has been placed?

If you'd like to add to your order, we may be able to accommodate you. Please contact us via email ([email protected]), phone (877.963.4966), or live chat. Note that added items won't be eligible for online discounts, as those only apply to the original order.

 

Can I order specials online? 

Yes. However, specials are non-catalog or non-stock items that require additional assistance to process, which will disqualify them from any online discount.

Enter the part number for which you require information in the search bar; if the information is available for that product you will see a heading under ‘Resources’. Click on the link to download a PDF.

 

How do I request product literature?

Visit our Product Literature page, browse the brochure, and click 'Request a copy by mail' for the items you need. A hard copy will be mailed to your address. Some items may only be available as PDFs.

 

How do I find product manuals?
